BGM a new innovative service which can play any kind of music while on a mobile call and adds Music to Talks!
It is a service wherein (background) music is played after the call is connected and for the entire call duration. You can also assign/play music in the background for each and every number you are going to dial out from your mobile phone and say BYE BYE to boredom while talking to your friends and family.

- Background Music allows the customers to select different background music to suit the mood of the conversation without interrupting it.
- Background Music offers personalized features that enable customers to select different music according to different callers.

- To activate Background music just dial 50696 from your Spice mobile follow the activation process. On successful activation a confirmation SMS is sent.
- Now you can dial 50696 to manage your downloads, speed dials, and other account related information
- To add music to a conversation, you need to prefix 676 before dialling the 10 digit destination number. E.g. caller will dial "6769844XXXXXX" to establish a BGM call.
- In case you wants to End or Re-start BGM effects during the call then just press ' * ' to stop the background music or again press ' * ' to start the background music.
- To increase or decrease the background music volume you can press 6 or 9 subsequently.
- With BGM we also provide a unique feature that is during the conversation you can play sounds like Crying Baby, Car Horn, Angry, Thinking etc. just by pressing buttons from 1 to 9.

Following are the charges to use Background Music Service, both for pre paid and post paid subscribers.
- IVR calling charge through 50696 - Rs. 3 per min (Rs.1 only in August 2008)
- All BGM outgoing calls from the IVR 50696 are charged Rs. 3 per min.
- Monthly subscription - Rs. 20 per Month.
- Music download - Rs. 15 per Song.
- 676 prefix dialing is charged at normal airtime charges for pre & post paid subscribers.
